Privacy Policy

How MAA handles information for a Google sign-in community. We do not offer public sign-up. We do not collect live, GPS, IP, or app-based location.

Who we are

MAA (Jivan Ka Aadhar) (“MAA”, “we”, “us”) operates https://maa.company. MAA is a community platform. People and businesses appear by place names you give us. Posts may include a YouTube video link only.

This policy describes information we process when you sign in with Google and use MAA. It is written for the product as it works today. It is not a substitute for independent legal advice.

No public sign-up

You cannot create an account yourself. A MAA administrator creates your personal or business account after we receive the details needed for that account. You then sign in with the Google account that matches the email on the record.

If Google sign-in succeeds but no MAA account exists for that email, access is refused. We do not auto-register visitors.

Information we process

From Google, when you sign in, we receive an access token and typically your Google email, Google user id (sub), and basic profile fields Google provides for the requested scopes (openid, email, profile). We use these to confirm you are the person on the MAA account.

On the account created by our administrator, we may store:

  • Personal account: first name, last name, mobile number, postal-style address, and place names (country, state, city, area, apartment, village) as typed or selected as names — not coordinates from a map, GPS, IP address, or live device location.
  • Business account: business name, business address, business mobile number, and the same kind of manual place names.
  • A public Google profile photo URL that you or the administrator provide, used only as the display picture. We do not host a photo upload.
  • YouTube video web addresses that you choose to publish as posts.
  • Likes and short text replies on posts, if you use those features.
  • Technical sign-in data: the Google access token stored in your browser (local storage and a cookie) so you stay signed in for a limited time, and server logs needed to run and protect the service.

What we do not collect

We do not use the following for your MAA account or posts:

  • Live location, GPS, cell-tower, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth positioning.
  • Location inferred from your IP address or from any mapping or location API.
  • Device motion, camera, or microphone for posting media.
  • Photo, image, or video files uploaded from your device. Display pictures are a public Google profile photo URL. Moving pictures in posts are YouTube links only.
  • Private messages, chat, stories, reels, or a camera roll.

How we use information

We use this information to operate MAA: to sign you in, show your profile and place names, show YouTube posts, likes and replies, administer accounts, prevent abuse, and keep the service running.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use live location advertising.

Google and YouTube

Google sign-in is provided by Google. Google’s own policies apply to your Google Account. MAA only requests sign-in related access (email and profile).

YouTube videos stay on YouTube. When a post contains a YouTube link, viewers load that video from YouTube under YouTube’s and Google’s terms. MAA stores the link, not the video file.

A Google profile photo URL is a public link you supply. Google hosts that image. If you change or remove that photo at Google, the picture on MAA may change or break.

Sharing

Profiles, place names, business details, Google photo URLs, YouTube links, likes, and replies may be visible to other signed-in users of MAA according to how the community screens work.

We may share information with service providers that host our website and APIs, with Google for sign-in, and if required by law.

Retention and your choices

Account records remain while the administrator keeps the account active. You may ask us to correct details or to close the account by contacting the administrator or support@maa.company.

You can sign out, which clears the token stored in your browser. You can also revoke MAA’s access in your Google Account settings.

Children

MAA is intended for accounts created by our administrators for people who may lawfully use the service. We do not knowingly offer self-service sign-up to children.
