Data Policy

Purpose of this page

This Data Policy is a short inventory of data MAA processes. It complements the Privacy Policy. If something conflicts, the Privacy Policy explains the fuller picture.

Sources of data

• Administrator: creates and updates account records from information the person or business gives MAA (no self-service sign-up).
• You, at sign-in: Google access token and Google identity (email / Google user id / profile as provided by Google).
• You, while using MAA: YouTube video URLs for posts; likes; replies; optional Google profile photo URL for the picture shown on MAA.
• Systems: browser storage for the sign-in token; server logs for security and reliability.

Personal account fields

Typical stored fields:

• First name, last name
• Mobile number
• Address (as text)
• Manual place names: country, state, city, area, apartment, village
• Public Google profile photo URL (not an uploaded file)

Business account fields

Typical stored fields:

• Business name
• Business address
• Business mobile number
• Manual place names as above
• Public Google profile photo URL used as the business display image

Posts and media

A post may include a YouTube video URL. MAA does not store your video file. MAA does not accept user-uploaded images, photos, or videos.

There is no MAA chat, inbox, story, or live camera post.

Location data — important

Place fields are names only, supplied by people or administrators. MAA does not request device location permission, does not geocode your IP to a map pin, and does not track you live.

Legal bases (where this language is used)

We process data to perform the service you access by signing in, to run administrator-created accounts, to keep the platform secure, and to meet legal duties. You may ask for access, correction, or deletion of your MAA record via support@maa.company or your administrator.

Processors

Google (sign-in and, separately, YouTube and profile photo hosting). Hosting providers that run maa.company and our APIs. We do not sell lists of members to advertisers.
